Today I’ll be theorizing with you all on determining why a tournament is called an open. I’ll be honest in admitting that I got inspired with bringing this topic up after getting a little buzz off the DragonBall post about Majin Buu in the Tournament of Power. What’s the harm in having a little tourney talk with discussing opens? Well here’s my attempt.
Why is a tournament called an open?
I’m going with tournaments being called an open because it’s meant to be an invitation to everybody that chooses to enter. You’re able to register and make the choice to compete at your own discretion. It’s actually one of the most universal activities you could take part in.
Extending an Invitation to Anybody Interested
It’s one of the most confident things I could imagine someone would do if they believed in their product truly.
Do you know how much you’re really believing in your event to where there’s an opportunity for anybody interested in participating?
The separation that could happen easily is the perception of someone looking desperate.
It’s a reasonable assumption for anyone ignorant (like how I can be myself at times).
We usually like to have exclusiveness serve as the quality that makes your product unique.
That’s not the case anymore with how popularity really shows off the attractiveness of things we really love.
