Quarterly Business Reports and Monitoring The Four Seasons – How I’m Measuring My Own Performance

Today I’m gonna be sharing how I choose to measure my own performance.

Quarterly Business Reports

I’ve mentioned this a bit before in the post about finishing strong for this 2026 year.

I like to measure how I’m performing in sections for the most part.

I like the fact that it’s broken down into 4 different quarters.

It’s how most major corporations track their own progress when discussing business.

Let’s keep it strictly applicable to just a single individual at this point though.

You might not want to run a business or anything like that, but if you don’t want something that formal, there’s also a break in each season that we experience globally to help keep track of everything too.

The Four Seasons

Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter — these are four times of the year that could easily parallel the business performances that we’ve discussed.

Maybe you don’t have business expenses to keep track of (which you really do) or stats on employee performances to monitor, but how do you tend to feel during these times of the year?

It’s a luxury being able to experience these times in the Midwest.

Snow actually falls to the ground, it gets hotter than hell, leaves actually change colors, and there’s a soft change in between the first 2 times of the year that I mentioned.

These moments play a huge role in emotions and ultimately how you feel when you’re expecting yourself to produce.

How are you measuring your own performance?

This is a question that I’m asking directly to the person reading. Is it similar to what I’ve shared with you at this point?

Share it with me because I’d love to compare and see if there’s possibly something I can do to improve my own methods.
