I Absolutely Set Personal Goals for Myself

Do you set personal goals for yourself?

I get clear direction on my life through everything I decide to consume.

This includes things like the food I eat, music and podcasts I listen to, and projects I create.

My first start in doing this was probably my parent’s decision to get me involved with a spiritual foundation.

It provided clarity because the lessons were rooted in chasing everlasting life.

I’ve grown to appreciate having an opportunity to measure my progress with the goals I set for myself because I enjoyed math.

When you enjoy numbers and learning how you can discover the truth with them, everything changes.

I can even say that my appreciation for being able to measure my progress in projects that I participate in started with video games surprisingly.

They’re projects. You start a story and have to navigate the entire thing.

The catch is that you don’t get a chance to complete the whole game all at once, so you get memory cards to save the work you put in.

That’s the beauty in being able to measure your progress when you really think about it.

I started developing a stronger sense of purpose when I started getting involved in projects that I genuinely cared about.

I’d be sure about it because I would put extra effort into its completion.

It’s something I think about often because I can get really sentimental and think deeper about what really motivates me.

I have the closest thing to a conclusion on it too.

It’s things that make me feel like my efforts go into something even greater than what the current moment is.

I might not have understood it in the beginning, but that’s the answer as far as I can see.

I’m not much of a fan with short term anything.

I always enjoyed things that were interconnected and lead to something much bigger than whatever’s being presented in the room.
